The Alzamigaja farmhouse is located in the Archidona vega (meadow), between the Peña de los Enmorados and Sierra de Gracia.

A rich and varied ecosystem in which Mediterranean forest shrubs are plentiful such as broom, caper, asparagus and of course the olive tree. Almost 70% of the farm’s surface is used for cultivation.

The ecological cultivation of our olive trees, unlike conventional methods, does not use chemical products but organic materials and minerals, the reuse of rain water and the incorporation of compact vegetation covers.

Among its inhabitants we find hares, deer, foxes, highlighting the presence of numerous species of birds such as bee-eaters, mocking birds, swallows, giltheads and kestrels. The strategic location to the south of the peninsula and the proximity of important watercourses (Laguna de Fuente de Piedra, Lagunas de Archidona Nature Reserve) turn theses territories into migratory routes of great ornithological value.
